Status of Implementation

Discussions are occurring in the County regarding many of the Employee Commute (EC) measures.  Some of these measures may be best addressed by utilization of an outside, regional service such as a Transportation Management Association (TMA) where resources and responses to demand management can be pooled among the area's major employers.  The County has contacted both the 50 Corridor TMA and the Sacramento TMA about expanding County membership and services.  Additionally, these two TMAs are in the process of merging into one organization.  The County is also having internal discussions regarding the best department to manage the employee commute.

With regard to expanding the County transit subsidy, there is no update to provide specific to this measure as these higher level discussions are still occurring.
