FLOOD-02: Improve Sewage and Solid-Waste Management Infrastructure

Evaluation and improvement of existing undersized or inadequate sewage and solid waste management infrastructure will lessen the occurrences of floodwater contamination, thereby reducing the spread of pollution and degraded water quality.

Action Description: Track the efforts of sanitation districts and waste management agencies in the region with the improvement of sewage and solid-waste management infrastructure. Participate in interagency coordination meetings where applicable to identify opportunities for the County to support such efforts.
