Sustainability Dashboard

The Sustainability Dashboard provides implementation updates on the Sacramento County Climate Action Plan (CAP) measures and actions. 

There are 66 measures and 265 actions in the CAP. Each measure includes at least one implementing action:

• Measure: Sector-specific strategies that are achieved through individual implementation actions (e.g., GHG-02: Expand the Urban Forest)
• Action: Specific policies, programs, or tools that support CAP measure achievement (e.g., GHG-02-a: Develop and adopt an Urban Forest Management Plan)

The measures in the CAP are divided into three categories: community mitigation, government operations mitigation, and climate adaptation. Each mitigation measure and action addresses a specific emissions source (e.g., on-road vehicles, residential building energy, etc.) while each adaptation measure and action addresses a climate hazard (e.g., flooding, wildfire, etc.).
